Unauthorized Online Resellers

An “unauthorized online reseller” is the term for a third-party "gray-market" internet vendor who is attempting to sell TASCAM product but is not an Authorized Dealer or Reseller for TASCAM.

An unauthorized online reseller may be offering counterfeit, damaged, used or defective product. Many unauthorized online resellers may not be located within the United States. Purchasing from an online reseller from a foreign country may increase your risk of receiving a counterfeit product.

TASCAM cannot guarantee the authenticity or condition of product offered for sale from unauthorized online resellers. TASCAM's policy is to honor product warranties and to perform services only on products purchased from an authorized TASCAM dealer and only when accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase. If TASCAM product is purchased from an unauthorized dealer or if the original factory serial number has been removed, defaced or altered, the TASCAM warranty is voided.

TASCAM is working to prevent these unauthorized online resellers from taking advantage of you, the customer. TASCAM provides a list of Authorized U.S. Dealers and a Dealer Locator. If you have doubts about the authenticity of an online reseller, please search our dealer database before buying. You may also contact us with any questions.
