2007-03-31 - Simply Jeff: Funky Breaks with West Coast Breakbeat House Pioneer

Besides being a well-known DJ who has worked with legends such as Afrika Bambaataa, and done remixes for Erasure, EMF and New Order, Simply Jeff also runs the Phonomental breakbeat CD label, and DJ Culture, a DJ music/technology store in southern California. Jeff also writes for top DJ/culture magazines, and is a TASCAM DJ artist who loves the X-9 mixer and the TT-M1 turntable-based CD controller. Tweet
