The TASCAM HS-2 is a broadcast-quality, feature-rich recorder/player boasting up to 192kHz/24-bit resolution and complete operability via Ethernet, serial and parallel ports. Connectivity is analog XLR/RCA in/out, AES/EBU XLR digital in/out and RCA S/PDIF in/out. It is timecode ready (in-use with the optional SY-2 interface card) and has word clock in/out. Because of its timecode capability, the HS-2 is a prime successor to timecode DAT recorders.
