I don't see an option to record in 96kHz on my DR-100, how do I access that?
You need to put the DR-100 in "HS Mode" to enable 96k recording. Power on the DR-100 holding the ENTER button. The screen will read, "MODE SELECT." You need to choose either "STD (44.1k, 48k, MP3)" mode, which allows MP3 recording, or "HS (44.1k, 48k, 96k)," which allows 96k recording.
I can't hear the speaker, how do I turn this on?
Make sure that input monitoring is switched off in the Menu > Input Setting screen. Make sure that the bottom-panel speaker switch is On and that no headphones are plugged in.
I get an error message when trying to update the firmware.
You need to "unzip" the files that you download, ending in ".zip" These files are compressed by the server to make your download times as quick as possible.
On Mac OSX, double-click the file to expand it.
On Windows OS, right-click the file and "Extract All."
