Is there a way to revert to an earlier version of PCM Recorder? 

This only works if you have backed up your iOS device prior to upgrading. 

  1. Locate the previous version on your hard drive. On Windows it can be found here:
    C:Users/TASCAM/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Mobile Applications/

    on Mac OS X you can find it here: 
    [Home Folder]/Music/iTunes/Mobile Applications/ 
  2. Locate the file called "PCM Recorder 1.0.2.ipa" or whichever version you want to recover. Make a copy of this file somewhere as a backup.
  3. Double click the .ipa file. iTunes should open and ask if you want to revert to an older version. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process. 

I upgraded the PCM Recorder app to version 1.0.3, and it no longer works on my Apple device. 

PCM Recorder version 1.0.3 requires iOS6 or later.
