Booth 2282, Anaheim, CA (Jan 21, 2016): TASCAM has teamed up with Cakewalk to offer their Rapture Session software synth as a free download for customers who purchase the US-2x2, US-4x4, TRACKPACK 2x2, TRACKPACK 4x4, or US-366 before April 30st, 2016. The US-2x2 and US-4x4 are TASCAM’s latest audio interfaces with two or four microphone inputs, best-in-class Ultra HDDA mic preamps, MIDI, and the unique Bio-cell side panels. Cakewalk Rapture Session joins Cakewalk’s SONAR LE and Ableton Live Lite 9 free bundle software.

Cakewalk Rapture Session is an easy-to-use software synth based on nearly 4GB of samples. Eleven instrument categories contain hundreds of presets, and each has an Instrument Page for live performance. The plug-ins are offered in VST3, AU, and AAX formats for Mac or Windows computers. The free download can be upgraded to the full version, Rapture Pro, from the Cakewalk website.
