The CD-6010 features the field-proven CD-5010B drive asembly - the same drive used in the TASCAM CD-9010 & CD-9010CF - our top Broadcasting models.  The CD-6010 is the new standard of Broadcast, Installation, and Touring CD players.

･ CD-5010B Drive Mechanism

The CD-6010 employs the CD-5010B drive - also used in the state-of-the-art TASCAM CD-9010 & CD-9010CF. The industry-standard drive has been improved with a faster open/close time, and has a manual eject hole in case of power failure.

･ AK4480 D/A Converters (manufactured by Asahi Kasei Microdevices)

The CD-6010 features the premium 32-bit stereo DAC AK4480 - made by the highly-regarded manufacturer Asahi Kasei Microdevices - chosen after rigorous audio testing. The AK4480's 32-bit digital filter ensures high-quality sound, and provides a wider dynamic range and lower distortion factor.

The operational amplifiers of the CD-6010 are the NJM5532 - also used in our CD-9010/CD-9010CF and Broadcast-standard HS-4000. These units are already established as top models in the broadcast market for their supreme audio quality.

･ Power Supply Employs Space-saving Efficient Capacitors

The CD-6010 power supply is the same used in our CD-9010 & CD-9010CF, and known for its stability and reliability. The stable power supply features capacitors able to withstand constant use - and space was not compromised.
