PA-R200 OVERVIEW

The PA-R200 is the flagship of a powerful new line of Professional Networking A/V Receivers from TASCAM. An essential component of any installation, PA-R200 offers full compatibility with all the latest audio and video formats. 8 HDMI inputs support 3D content, HD audio and upscale video to 4K with Marvell’s Qdeo™.  The latest Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio™ formats are also supported. Select between three zones or surround powered and pre outputs to deliver astonishing audio to different rooms. Choose sources like Internet Radio, Network Streaming, direct iPod/iPhone playback (including iPhone 5), and connected analog or digital components. Also featured on PA-R200’s front panel is a MHL-Enabled AUX Input that supports Smart Phone content on HDTV.

First in class processing delivers perfected performance with Audyssey 2EQ, Dynamic EQ®, and Dynamic Volume®. Dolby® Pro Logic IIz and Audyssey DSX® expand and add new dimensions to surround sound. DSP Gaming modes and Zone independent Balance controls enhance your media experience.

Control integration is available with RS-232C, IR input, Ethernet, and Programmable 12V Triggers. Other remote options include TASCAM Remote Apps for iPod touch/iPhone 2 and Android Phone 3. The simple initial setup procedure will have you connected to your network in no time with built-in wireless or LAN, streaming from the Cloud, USB storage or your computer. PA-R200 is a rackmount essential for any retail, government, education, house of worship, restaurant/bar, venue or ultimate home entertainment system installation.

Route audio to up to two other rooms, using the powered and line outputs on the back of the PA-R200.

Stream music from your computer or connect to internet radio stations like Pandora, Rhapsody, Sirius XM, and Spotify.

Eight HDMI inputs are provided for HD signals, seven on the rear panel and one on the front. The PA-R200 includes the latest HDMI spec for compatibility with 3D video.

The PA-R200 decodes the latest uncompressed formats from Dolby and DTS. It also includes Dolby Pro Logic IIz for dynamic broadcast signals. THX approval and Audyssey technology help to automate room calibration.

Plug in an Apple iPhone, iPad, or iPod and play your music library through the PA-R200. The digital input bypasses the converters on your portable device for the best audio quality.

The free AV Remote app controls internet radio operation, audio streaming from a music server, volume, and other remote control functions.
