TASCAM SS250 CONTROL is a dedicated APP for iOS/Android/Windows/Mac OS which enables the remote control operation to control the TASCAM Solid State Stereo Recorder SS-R250N/SS-CDR250N using Wi-Fi wireless connection. When the SS-R250N/SS-CDR250N and iOS/Android devices are connected with Wi-Fi in the same network via router, the APP provides the transport control, MENU adjustments on the main unit and monitoring the level of the recording and playback.
The dedicated APP『TASCAM SS250 CONTROL』is available for free download. The APP for iOS/Android is available on App Store/Google Play. For Windows/Mac, the APP can be downloaded from TASCAM website.

Main Features
The APP provides an intuitive way to operate the transport control and monitor level meter on the main screen during recording/playback on the main unit. In addition, the recording/playback media source and settings can be confirmed on the screen.

Including the basic controls such as REC, PLAY, SKIP, FAST-FORWARD, REWIND, the MARK setting as well as the MARK function with the MARK Skip feature.
Designed level meter enables the monitoring on the sound level of recording and playback.
Press the Time Search button and enter the time you desire in the Time Search to locate the starting point from a specific time in the track.
The Pitch and Key control can be adjusted on the Setting screen. Press the Setting icon on the bottom left to launch the Setting screen. In addition, the Flash Load mode and A-B Repeat selections are available.
The Information Screen shows the details including file type, input sources and other settings on the main unit. Simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open Information screen.
Open Menu Screen by swiping left of the Home screen to start mainly the playback settings including Play, Repeat and Record settings as well.
TASCAM SS250 CONTROL provides function settings under Menu page.

Although the SS-R250N/SS-CDR250N may be mounted in the rack, by connecting Wi-Fi through router for wireless connection, it enables the remote control on the app to operate the main unit while monitoring the recording and playback level in real time. Even without a Wi-Fi router, the LAN connection between iOS/Android tablet, the main unit and the standard broadband modem still allows the APP to remote control wirelessly. It can be very user-friendly and convenient to adjust the settings no matter the SS-R250N/SS-CDR250N is already set in the rack.

The Panel Lock feature is added which allows the touch screen on your smartphone to be locked to prevent accidental touch issues. Double tab the Screen Lock button on the right side of the timer to lock the transport control switches. This function also works for Windows/Mac as well.
The SS-R250N/SS-CDR250N has the LAN connector on the backpanel in order to share recorded or playback files via FTP client server. While uploading or downloading the files, the icon display apprears in the main screen to keep user updated with the process of file sharing.
