Inputs for microphone, guitar, line or phono sources feed your Mac or Windows software, with stereo RCA and headphone outputs.
The US-100 includes a copy of Audacity recording software, but supports most Mac and Windows software such as Garage Band, Logic, Live, Nuendo, Cubase, Fruity Loops, and Pro Tools 9.
Full-featured inputs
Four types of inputs are supported on the US-100:
- XLR and 1/4" microphone inputs
- A guitar input for recording a guitar or bass directly into your software
- Stereo RCA line inputs
- Phono level inputs
A direct monitor path is available during recording to prevent the delays that can occur when recording to computer. This allows the musician to hear the input directly to the output without any delay so that timing isn't distracted by echos.
Phono Inputs Provided
A unique feature of the US-100 is a set of phono inputs, complete with RIAA filter and a ground connector. It's perfect for recording old vinyl into your computer to enjoy in iTunes or share online. The phono inputs also make the US-100 a great choice for DJs.
